Need HACCP Manager Job

In this role, you will be part of the Food Safety and Quality Team at Alphonsa Cashew Industries. The HACCP Manager is responsible for the development and implementation of a HACCP system as well as prerequisite programs for shipping and receiving, equipment and maintenance, training, sanitation and pest control, recalls, and other operational control programs.


  1. Identify, evaluate, control and prevent hazards at all stages.
  2. Review all critical control points (CCP’s), monitor and verify records to ensure compliance with HACCP plan, critical limits and frequencies.
  3. Monitor HACCP and prerequisite programs, critical control points, and communicate deviations.
  4. Perform inspections, analyse technical reports to determine if a product is safe for distribution or if corrective actions are required.
  5. Develop recall requirements, perform mock recalls and ensure identification, labelling, and traceability system functions, as planned.
  6. Review employee, visitor and contractor requirements for good manufacturing practices, general safety rules, and training requirements for employees.
  7. Set clear vision, goals, and management systems for HACCP Plans that align with broader Food Safety and Quality goals for Alphonsa Cashew Industries.
  8. Build effective external partnerships with customers. Respond to complaints and questions and provide proactive and preventive corrective actions where required.
  9. Communicate and advise the business and other key stakeholders on food safety protocol to protect the brand and optimize food safety performance. 
  10. Develop and grow your team through collaboration, mentorship, strategic alignment, and career development.
  11. Perform other duties as assigned.

  1. A Bachelor’s degree in biology, biochemistry, chemistry, microbiology, food science, food technology, or a closely related field and experience.
  2. HACCP Certification.
  3. 5+ years experience in Food Safety & Quality Assurance in food manufacturing and/or in Supply Chain/Quality Assurance for a food processing company.
  4. Excellent communication, both verbal and written, and interpersonal skills across all levels of the organisation are required. Candidate should be fluent in both English.
  5. Proven People Management & experience leading and growing a team. 
  6. Strong knowledge of National and International government regulations, FDA, EFSA HACCP, auditing, USDA, Food Code, SPC, crisis management & product recalls, Food Safety and Quality Systems program, process validation.
